Overview

The General Technical Adviser at the organisation is responsible for providing expert guidance and support in program development and implementation, ensuring that our initiatives align with best practices and meet the needs of the communities we serve. This role involves collaborating with staff and stakeholders to enhance our technical capabilities, improve project outcomes, and drive sustainable social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical guidance to support program implementation and development.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate technical aspects of projects to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff and volunteers on technical topics.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and resources for programs.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to enhance communication.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform organizational strategies.
  • Support fundraising efforts by providing technical insights and data.
