Ssembuya Don is a 6-year-old boy currently under the care of Glorious Future Foundation, where he lives alongside his older brother. His early life has been marked by significant challenges that no child should have to endure.

Don was born HIV-positive and lost his mother at a very young age, leaving him without the care and stability every child needs. Following her passing, he was taken in by his grandmother, who, despite her love and effort, struggled to provide for his medical, nutritional, and daily care needs due to severe financial hardship.

As a result, Don’s health and overall wellbeing were at serious risk. Limited access to proper nutrition and consistent medical care made his condition even more vulnerable.

Recognizing the urgency of his situation, Glorious Future Foundation intervened to provide him with the care and support he desperately needed. Today, Don lives in a safe and nurturing environment where he receives consistent medical attention, nutritious meals, and emotional support.

With this renewed foundation, Don is growing stronger, healthier, and more hopeful. He now dreams of becoming a pilot—a reflection of his courage, resilience, and the possibilities that emerge when a child is given a second chance.
