Overview

The Mechanical Technician at the organisation plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems and equipment. Responsibilities

  1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment used in nonprofit operations.
  2. Assist in the design and fabrication of mechanical systems and tools for various projects.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  4. Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  5. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
  6. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics.
  7. Train and mentor volunteers on basic mechanical skills and equipment handling.
  8. Support project teams by providing technical expertise and insights during planning phases.
  9. Participate in inventory management of mechanical parts and tools.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
