Four young children, ages 5 to 11, have been left orphaned
after losing both parents in a tragic series of events. Their father, a
boda-boda rider, was killed in a hit-and-run accident, and their mother passed
away from high blood pressure shortly after during his burial. These children
now face the harsh realities of life without their parents, and they have been
forced to sell fruit on the streets to survive. Our goal is to give them the
childhood they deserve by providing both immediate welfare support and access
to education. By funding their school fees, basic needs, and emotional
counselling, we can empower these children to build a brighter future.
These children are caught in a vicious cycle of poverty,
forced to fend for themselves by selling fruit instead of attending school.
Without intervention, they risk losing out on education, which is their only
path to a better future. Their aunt, who cares for them, struggles to provide
for their basic needs, let alone their school fees. The streets of Nansana and
Wakiso are dangerous for children, and without proper support, they may never
have the opportunity to escape this hardship. These children urgently need help
to break free from the grip of poverty, receive the education they deserve, and
live in a safe, nurturing environment.
We are committed to providing immediate and long-term
support for these four children. Through this project, we will ensure that they
have:
- Education: Full
coverage of school fees, uniforms, and learning materials for all four children
for their primary school education, allowing them to focus on their studies
without financial stress.
- Basic Welfare:
Support for their daily needs including food, clothing, and medical care to
ensure they are healthy and safe.
- Emotional Support:
Access to counselling services to help them cope with the traumatic loss of
their parents and foster emotional healing.
Your donations will give these children a chance to attend
school, play, and live a life free from the burden of adult responsibilities.
Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. By
supporting these children, you are giving them more than just an opportunity to
attend school—you are giving them the tools to build a better life. With a
solid education, they will have the chance to pursue careers, earn a living,
and eventually lift themselves and their families out of poverty. This project
will not only transform their lives but will also have a ripple effect on
future generations, ensuring that their future children will not have to endure
the same struggles. With your help, we can provide hope, stability, and the
chance for a brighter tomorrow.
