Many small business owners work hard but struggle to know where their business money goes or whether they are making a profit.
Through the Prepared Entrepreneurs Programme (PEP), we want to support 1,000 entrepreneurs in Nansana with practical financial tools, business coaching and regular follow-up for one year.
Many small businesses do not keep proper records of their sales, expenses, stock and savings.
Without good records, it is difficult for business owners to know how their business is performing, make good decisions or plan for growth.
PEP aims to help entrepreneurs turn good financial habits into part of their daily business life.
We take practical business support directly to the entrepreneur.
Each entrepreneur will receive a Prepared Business Finance Book, personal onboarding, practical coaching, a follow-up visit and monthly business reviews.
For 12 months, entrepreneurs will be supported to record, review, learn and improve how they manage their businesses.
We want entrepreneurs to build financial habits that continue long after the programme ends.
With better records and better financial discipline, businesses can make better decisions, manage their money and stock more effectively, become more resilient and create growth opportunities.
Our long-term goal is to build a model that can reach 5,000 entrepreneurs in Nansana and eventually communities across Uganda.
One Entrepreneur. One Better Business. One Stronger Community. One More Prepared Uganda.
